Making Tax Digital for Income Tax

The latest HMRC change - aimed at Self-Employed individuals and Landlords

Making Tax Digital... You might have heard of it for the last 5 years, but what exactly is it, and how can we help?

Self-Employed individuals and Landlords with a turnover exceeding £50k will need to report their income and expenses to HMRC on a quarterly basis, using compliant software.

This will also be accompanied by an "End of Period Declaration" which will replace the self-assessment for these people.

By using compliant software, and crucially talking to you, the tax payers, about how you store your records we can both compile and complete the quarterly submissions and annual submission for you. This doesn't have to add any additional stress to you, but, will give you clarity over your tax bill as you go through the tax year.

We are encouraging tax payers to see this as an opportunity for greater tax visibility and not a process which is only intended to give HMRC more data.

If you are impacted by this, and want to have a conversation around how we can help then please reach out. Our packages start at just £40 a month to include the software costs.
